2013 Korte Ranch Zinfandel

Tasting Notes

This wine is deep garnet colored with generous aromas of raspberry, black plum, caramel, cinnamon, clove, and orange zest. It offers a smooth entry with a broad mouthfeel leading to bright and lively flavors of sweet balckberry, blueberry, cracked black pepper, cassis, and hints of coffee, licorice, and spice.

The Vineyard

Korte Ranch is located just north of St. Helena along the Napa River on Ehlers Lane and it is truly one of the most disticntive and classic Zinfandel vineyards left in Napa Valley with the vines we source being a minimum of 70 years old.
